I’m Farah, 54 yrs old, I still practice as an optometrist and am also a qualified personal trainer and nutrition coach. Through my experience as an optometrist and examining thousands of patients, I realised that there is a huge link between poor nutrition choices, inactivity, and stress with chronic inflammation. In order that we thrive in midlife, rather than just survive, our nutrition and exercise needs to be on point to address the effects of menopause- many of these caused by inflammation. Strength training is a vital component of this strategy to increase muscle mass and metabolism. It is also needed to maintain bone density and prevent osteoporosis in later life. When we increase muscle mass, strength, and bone density we improve our chances of functional independence in later life. 😄
Hi, I’m Kate - a personal trainer and health coach. I’m a former dancer who left a promising financial career to become a personal fitness trainer and a health coach. After becoming a mother the second time, I left my corporate job and pursued my passion - helping others to become stronger and healthier. Dr. Christle Guevarra holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Minor in Mathematics from San Francisco State University, a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences. Passionate about education, she was awarded a Pre-Doctoral Teaching Fellowship at Western University of Health Sciences, where she taught first- and second-year osteopathic medical students. Christle completed her Family Medicine residency at Crozer Health in PA, where she was awarded “Resident of the Year.” She then completed her Sports Medicine fellowship at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where she worked with Division I Football, professional (boxing, MMA, basketball), and recreational athletes. Currently, she maintains a telemedicine private medical practice, serves as an official traveling Team Physician for US Figure Skating, and is a non-clinical contractor for Renaissance Periodization. As a firm advocate of Exercise Is Medicine, Christle believes in “practicing what you preach.” A former champion competitive powerlifter, she now enjoys lifting for physique enhancement while also training for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Gennifer has experience competing in multiple sports such as fencing and soccer and is a world renowned IFBB competitive bodybuilder placing 3rd in the world in the Figure division. The basics of nutrition are very misunderstood and should be taught more in depth especially for those wanting to live a sustainable life NOT on a "diet."
